How big is the LumiFlame™ lantern?
A full 11 inches tall — a real, substantial lantern that holds its own on a table, deck, or pathway. Many cheaper alternatives are 4–6 inch plastic versions; ours is deliberately not that.
Does the flame look real?
The flame effect uses 22 LEDs that flicker upward in a natural dancing motion. From a few steps away, most guests assume it's a real flame.
Is it safe around kids and pets?
Completely. There's no fire, no heat, and no glass to shatter — just a warm LED glow.
Can it stay outside in bad weather?
Yes. The IP65-rated body is built for rain, wind, heat, and frost, all year round.
Power & Charging
Does it need batteries or wiring?
No. The built-in battery charges from the solar panel on top. There is nothing to plug in, replace, or install.
How long does it glow at night?
Up to 8 hours on a full day of sunshine — it switches on automatically at dusk and off at dawn.
What about cloudy days?
It still charges, just more slowly. Typical daylight provides several hours of evening glow.
